1 a celebration of the adventurer in all of us; 2 discovery of the lost art of solitude; 3 to pry oneself from the easy chair and move one step out of our comfort zone; 4 traveling alone exploring the unknown for at least two nights away from home preferably via foot or a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

Sarah, definitely! buy one and report back. I want to hear how your photos with a disposable turn out.

Anil, I remember hearing about that. I'd like to see those photos. If you locate the story, pass it along.

Jen, they were taken with a disposable. The one of Wyatt however has had some Photoshop magic dust applied to blur the background. Thank you, and I'm glad you like them.

Beautiful photos! I think often people forget it's not entirely about what the camera can or can't do, but how it's used. For my senior thesis for my BA, all of my photos were taken on a basic 35mm point and shoot, nothing fancy! I still don't use an SLR most of the time, but just a regular digital camera--easy to carry, easy to use!

I've been meaning to play around with disposable cameras for awhile, this is definitely an inspiration to give it a try!

Wish I could remember the complete story about the photographer who took award winning photos with a Barbie camera in the 80/90s.
