Teewinot, the 6th highest summit in the Teton Range. Must be difficult being in Grand’s shadow. From the upper saddle of GrandBase Campthe latrine was on the side of a cliff. And nothing stayed on the mountain.
Grand, two days after my summit. Without the photos, it was easy to convince myself it never happened.

Hey! I just stumbled on ur blog and it is perfect! I have been meaning to go on a trip solo for a long time, primarily to mature as an individual and a climber… The tetons are probably going to be my end destination…. Thing I could get some advice as far as climbing them goes? I will probably join the american alpinist club before departure, and stay at the AAC climbers ranch at the base…. But I am still pretty apprehensive though as far as finding a partner goes, as well as my own trad climbing experience (only 2 multipitch under my belt).

MAJESTIC! I’m at a loss for words…great photos, Tammie!
The ‘proofs in the pictures’……you definitely did it! If you have ever considerd being closer to God and his Glory in a ‘physical realm’, I think you were….wonderful post.
You make rocks look spectacular!!!! The picture from the top will always prove you made it. We know it from the look on your face and thank you for taking us with you on the journey. Solo road trips don’t mean you’re alone.
It was an amazing 3 days of weather – glorious actually. I couldn’t have gotten luckier and the photos are truly point-and-shoot. Sometimes the subject matter is so perfect, point and shoot is all you need do!
Tim said what I planned to after seeing the first picture, so I’ll say it a bit differently….You take my breath away! I’m not doing a blog post tomorrow….I’m borrowing your first picture and sending everyone over here! Everyone should see this…Amazing!
I’m speechless and your images take my breath away! I love the crystal clarity of the air… you were blessed with great weather, it appears. Did you get a chance to see the any of the recent Ken Burns documentary series?
